Alright, everyone, it's time for the All Sauce All Stars R&D update. First off, I want to give a warm welcome to all our new All Sauce All Stars. We're thrilled to have you join us on this journey of bringing back the iconic Uncle Brother's All Sauce.
Now, let's get into the shipment update, but before we do, I want to share some exciting news. We've decided to rebrand it and rename it the All Sauce All Stars R&D update. It just felt like the right move, you know?
So, as of today, we're officially rolling with the new name. And speaking of rolling, I'm here in the kitchen, cooking up the next development batch of our number 10 sauce. This batch is extra special because I'm doing something different with it compared to number nine. I can't spill all the beans just yet, but I can tell you that I'm swapping out one ingredient with a proprietary blend we've created in-house. It's a little secret for now, but trust me, this number 10 sauce is going to blow your taste buds away.
Now, for our All Sauce All Stars who joined or renewed their membership after September 20th, I have a special treat for you. You'll be the first to try out the bottoms-up version of our highly anticipated number 10 sauce. I'm really excited to share this exclusive sample with you, and I think you're going to love it.
Now, let's move on to something that all of us can relate to—F-Ups. Yes, F-Ups happen to all of us, even to a small company like ours. And today, I want to talk about some of the F-Ups we've encountered as shippers and how we deal with them. But before we dive into that, I just want to make it clear that I support USPS and stand against any privatization efforts. My father actually used to be a letter carrier, so I have a personal connection to the postal service.
Initially, we had planned to use USPS to ship out the sauce samples to all of you. However, we ran into some technical difficulties on their website and couldn't get it to work. So, we made the decision to switch to UPS instead. It was a bit more expensive, but it seemed like a viable option at the time.
But then, things got a little complicated. One day, I managed to score a discount with UPS customer service. They gave me this promo code that was supposed to save us some money. I was thrilled about the savings, so I started using the promo code for our shipments. However, I quickly realized that the discount would sometimes disappear during the checkout process. It was a frustrating experience. I had to go back and re-enter the promo code multiple times before it finally applied correctly.
Despite the ups and downs, every little bit of savings counts, and I'm grateful for the promo code. It's just one of those things we have to navigate as a small company.
So, there you have it, a glimpse into the challenges and F-Ups we face in the shipping process. But we're determined to keep pushing forward and deliver excellence to all our All Sauce All Stars. Speaker:Alright, go on with this. What's up everybody? Welcome to the shipment update. However, as of today I'm officially
Speaker:rename the shipment update all sauce all stars R&D update there we go what,
Speaker:Did you see the earlier post? I'm cooking today. That's right.
Speaker:The next development batch of number 10 is underway. Did you see the post?
Speaker:Alright. Check it out. Yeah, so this is a very important batch. Very important.
Speaker:As I said, hashtag bottoms up. That's for my P-Funk days.
Speaker:I'll funk to that. Bottoms up. Yeah. Uh-huh. But anyway, show them my age. Y'all know I'm old.
Speaker:So, yes, very important batch here. From the bottom up, meaning there was an ingredient that I have purchased up until now.
Speaker:I'm replacing that purchased ingredient with an in-house blend.
Speaker:I'll call it that. All right, it's another stock.
Speaker:Okay, this is for number 10 this time. So it's a little bit different from the stock for number nine. Hint, hint.
Speaker:Hint, hint. Stock for number nine. Now a stock for number 10.
Speaker:What y'all think that means?
Speaker:Mm-hmm. And so far, look. All right, here's a little peep.
Speaker:All right, I'll give you a little peep at it.
Speaker:This is where it is right now. Okay, but I'm not going to, no,
Speaker:I'm not going to tell you what's in it.
Speaker:You kind of make out a couple things in there, but I ain't going to tell you everything that's in there.
Speaker:Where I did a little tasty taste.
Speaker:Oh, okay, with this number 10, it's going to definitely be like no other.

Speaker:All right, so welcome to the All Sauce All Stars R&D update.
Speaker:Okay, now, okay, so September 20th, if you become a member or
Speaker:your renewal payment has come in since September 20th and you require a number
Speaker:10 sample you're going to be the first to taste the bottoms-up version of,
Speaker:number 10 yeah that's what I'm talking about,
Speaker:all right so last time I did I went on a little bit of a rant I was talking
Speaker:about you know shipping materials and how I've been saving not only on my expenses my overhead but also saving the impact on the environment that we have,
Speaker:here at Uncle Brother. Okay keeping that to a minimum by recycling and reusing,
Speaker:shipping materials from right now the local co-op is kind enough to set there's a side and save for me. So we talked all about that in the last update.
Speaker:This time I'm gonna talk about F-Ups. F-Ups. F-Ups. You know, F-Ups happen. We F- stuff up!
Speaker:That's f'd up There's all kinds of examples, but this is f-ups as it pertains to,
Speaker:Being a shipper. Oh, you know a small company that,
Speaker:Is looking to save on overhead so?
Speaker:When I first got my the first samples ready to send out to everybody I first initially I went on USPS,
Speaker:To send the packages because that's what I was using last time and I support USPS. I really am you know down on the whole idea of
Speaker:trying to privatize USPS. You know my father was a letter carrier for his,
Speaker:first career and he went on to have a second career as a business agent for,
Speaker:the postal letter carriers union. So I you know I support the USPS and I you
Speaker:know like I said I think it's a shame that there's an effort to try to to privatize and end the USPS. That's really unfortunate. So I wanted to use USPS when I,
Speaker:started shipping my samples out to everyone, but I couldn't get the website to work. And.
Speaker:The day was going on and I just jumped over to the UPS site and I got it to work and boom,
Speaker:I just said okay, it's a little bit more expensive, but all right I'll deal with it some other time so I was using UPS and That was great,
Speaker:Sort of a little expensive like I said so one opportunity I had to something happened and and I called to try to work it out and,
Speaker:The agent on the other end was kind enough to give me a promo code and it saved some money
Speaker:So I wrote that down. I said oh, I'll use this promo code,
Speaker:Then I started using the promo code and it was lowered the cost. Great! Perfect!
Speaker:Still not what I was getting with USPS but any little savings helps. So I did that.
Speaker:Did it again oh wait a minute what happened to the discount.
Speaker:That's weird. How'd that happen? So I go back and the next one I do, I put it in and say,
Speaker:OK, I got it in this time.
Speaker:Make sure I had it. Get all the way to the end. Dang, it's gone again.
Speaker:So I had to go back and re-put it in, put the promo code in again,
Speaker:and then it applied the discount.
Speaker:And then I go back to the checkout and then, oh, it's gone again.
Speaker:So I go back one more time into another screen and I put it in there and then, oh, OK, there it is.
Speaker:So I was like, wow, that's weird. Wasn't doing that. I didn't have to do that before.
Speaker:So go back and do another shipment and I'll do the same, go through the same thing.
Speaker:I put in the promo code and then it disappears and I have to put it in again.
Speaker:And then yet again. So I was getting a little frustrated because, wow,
Speaker:gotta keep going back and re-enter. They don't want me to use this thing.
Speaker:They gave it to me and now they don't, it's like they act like they don't want me to use it.
Speaker:What's going on here? So I said, all right,
Speaker:guess that's just what I'm gonna have to deal with to you know lower the price
Speaker:so I'll just keep going then the next thing I know error we cannot process this
Speaker:transaction what what's going on so just like when I was trying to use the USPS
Speaker:site when something went wrong I said I'm not getting on the phone this time,
Speaker:this is a F up moment mm-hmm f-ups f-ups so I went back on to the USPS website.
Speaker:Now I did find out what was the problem when I was trying to use it the first
Speaker:time they've gone and over complicated the whole thing messed it up trying to
Speaker:improve it it's messed up now a little bit and then there's a whole thing and
Speaker:you put in your password you can't unhide it and when it tells you that you
Speaker:did it wrong and I you know. USPS work on that website. Too complicated. You almost
Speaker:lost me for good. But because of some f-ups over at UPS. F-ups have now brought
Speaker:me back with USPS. F-Ups. Mm-hmm. Look, y'all, the price is too high to begin with.
Speaker:Then you charge because it's going to a residential person. Put extra $5 on top
Speaker:of it. You just went from being competitive to knocking yourself right out the box. And then when I get a promo code to knock 25-30% off, to get it a
Speaker:little bit more competitive, you jack up your website so that it won't work if,
Speaker:If you use the promo code more than, I don't know, a few times.
Speaker:I'm going to say more than a few times because I was trying to use it every time.
Speaker:Price is too high. Hey, wrong with y'all.
Speaker:F-ups. I'm back with USPS. So your latest samples have been arriving via our wonderful USPS.

Speaker:have always will i'm sorry i departed momentarily i had a lapse of good judgment there for a moment,
